The journey of Slak Media began from the mutual interest of two childhood friends. For them photography started as a form of artistic self expression; today however, this expressive medium has become a vital part of their everyday lives. To some a picture is just a 4x6, to the members of Slak, photographs represent a diary of life. A road map of the past and the present, a journal of places travelled and the people they've met along the way.
Along this journey they have travelled to many parts of North America and Asia, honing their craft through many unique photographic opportunities. Through their lenses they have framed the dizzying lights of Las Vegas and witnessed the masses paying homage to the Great Wall. They have worked in the crowded streets of China and the vast prairies of Alberta.
This passion for capturing moments in life, has developed into the art of providing lasting keepsakes. Reminders of cherished memories for their clients, friends and family. Moments to be treasured, and stories to be retold for many years to come.
